Roads are how most people get around in much of Malaysia. These photographs are from the Klang Valley which is a busy part of Malaysia not too far from the capital. Kuala Lumpur. My car trips were often local and just for shopping or other everyday things which meant that I started seeing the same places and everyday activities of the other road users. The title of this series and the framed and fragmented views are a homage to America by Car by Lee Friedlander.
